Special Services: Please view the calendar to keep up to date with the special services that take place during the month of January.
Shared Leadership: In the new year, St. John the Divine will be blessed with the service of both Fr. Michael Pavez and Fr. Philip Rogers. Each will serve the Divine Liturgy at least once a month as we continue to faithfully grow the Church in Lake Charles. If you have any ideas for the growth of the community, please se either Fr. Michael, Fr. Philip, Dn. Elias, or Subdeacon George.
Volunteers Needed: Are you looking for an opportunity to help out our Church community? Do you see a need that is not being addressed that you would like to help with? Please let Fr. Philip know if you would like to help out with any ongoing projects in the Church community.
Orthodoxy 101 Class: Be ready for continuing the classes as we return to our normal schedules in the fall. If you have particular ideas for topics, please let Fr. Philip, Dn. Elias, or Subdeacon George know.
